Noir

Rockin' all black is definitely one of my go to outfits if I a) don't know what to wear and b) need to look presentable. I wore this outfit on Sunday for service and even though it's all black I think it still worked. I picked up this black blouse from Calvin Klein (a store I never go into because it's out of my price range lol) and I walked straight to the back. Yes, I found this right in the clearance! It feels like no shirt I own!

I kept the accessories simple; I wore black shoes and the same thrifted purse from my last blog post (here), a black beaded necklace my mom bought for me and a silver watch.

I guess this outfit isn't totally black. I'm wearing forever 21's nail polish in lavender.

White Crop Top

20 degrees of beautifulness today! I don't even remember the last time I wore a sleeveless shirt. Anyways I found this collared zip up crop top in the thrift store a couple of weeks ago and am excited to finally wear it out.  I paired it with high waisted jogger type pants and kept everything monochrome with a pair of black heels and purse.

My mom gave me this necklace before she left for Van city so it means a lot to me even though it's kinda hard for me to style.

Static Cardigan

Happy Wednesday guys! Edward and I had some errands to run downtown so we took some quick photos and had some yummy Chinese takeout.

I picked this cardigan up at Dynamite on sale for $10. I paired the kinda bold cardigan with simple black pieces and this leather purse I use almost every day, found at the thrift store! Goodness I love the thrift store.

If you guys ever come to Toronto, Wah Too has some bomb chili chicken!

Mixing Prints - Damask & Stripes

Heylo! Dressing for Sunday service tends to be the when I experiment a little more with my style. I found these damask printed pants from the thrift store (oh yah!!) and they're by H&M. I've worn the same pants with a basic black top so this time I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and mix the bold print with stripes. I anchored the look with a black blazer and black chunky heeled pumps from Zara. 

Sun in my faceeee! Love it :)

New In: Converse Sneakers

The Toms I wore last spring and summer are totally wrecked and I needed a new pair of shoes to wear everyday to school. I know these sneakers are super popular but I love the look of the converse sneakers (proud owner of now two ct sneaks). My boyfriend surprised me and offered to buy me these shoes (thank you bear!).

Initially I wanted the regular classic style, but I loved the lighter look of the dainty style.

I paired the shoes with a classic and casual outfit (at least for me) some jeans from express, a white t, and my faux leather jacket from Zara.

Hand Me Down Duster

When we did a clean up of the garage, I found a box of old clothes either from one of my aunts or my mom. I found this duster dress thing and I instantly fell in love. One because it's the perfect size  for me (being short a lot of maxi stuff never fits me) and two because of the floral print and style.

It was a dress but I unbuttoned it so I could wear it more as a duster. I paired with a plain black v-neck t and some navy blue high waited pants I found at a thrift store.  To modernize the look a bit I wore some gladiator wedges I found at an Aldo sale about two years ago.

Family, Sun, & Birthdays

Yesterday we celebrated my aunts birthday. It was a beautiful warm spring day. Perfect weather for celebrating a beautiful woman's day. Edward and I took a stroll and took some pictures at a near by park and we ended the night with bbq, bubbles and board games. All in all a perfect day!

I actually planned on wearing this outfit with a nice pair of pointed heels but ain't nobody got time for that.

Polka Dot

Happy Thursday :) I felt fancy today and wore a dress that I found in a thrift store. It was too short for my taste so I added a satin and lace slip underneath it which might of or might of not worked but tis ok. Hope your Thursday was bomb diggity!

All Black

Happy Saturday! It was another gloomy day which can be the reason why I went all black but then again I really don't need a reason. Hoping the purple wall brings a little bit of color and brightness lol.
