New In: Summer Sandals

On Victoria Day, Edward and I decided to cross the border and check out an outlet mall in Niagara Falls, NY. I feel like I'm a lot more particular about my style than I used to be and a lot more conscious of where and how I spend money. I sadly couldn't find a lot of what I was looking for, but I did find these beautiful block heeled sandals at Nine West. I went back and forth between these and a pair of 4 inch heeled mules from another store. I thought the low heel on these sandals would be a lot more practical and I know I'd definitely get a lot more use out of them. But damn… I feel kind of guilty leaving the mules behind… all cold on that shelf.

I also picked up these gladiator sandals because Nine West was doing this whole BOGO 50% off thing and we all know how sales can trap you into making an involuntary purchase. I’m not totally crazy about them because I’m not sure if I’m still into the whole gladiator thing but I scoured the place and found none other more worthy. Regardless, welcome to the family black gladiators. Welcome.

Even though I was kind of disappointed with the outlet mall, I’m still grateful Edward took the time out to drive me and take me out shopping. We didn’t buy a lot but we did get to spend a lot of time with each other and the amount of American snacks we hoarded always makes crossing the border worth it.
