Meet my son, Arthur Zion

My son is three months old today. I'm not kidding when I say I have no idea where the time has gone.

It's been an adjustment becoming a mom, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Yah, I don't get to sleep as much as I used to, yah recovering from my c-section sucked, and yah even through I know breast milk is amazing for my baby, I admit it can be tiring and hard on your body. I would 100% do it all again, and again for my little Arthur. Time is wizzing by, and every day I'm reminding myself to appreciate it all. To take as many photos & videos as I want, and to be present and enjoy the moment as well.

What can I say, I'm extremely grateful I get to be a mama to this sweet, chill, and curious little boy. The cuddles, the smiles, the laughs are all worth it.

Also can you believe this little chunk is now 15.2 lbs and 64 cm long! I love that he's growing and learning, but life... if you have a pause button I'd like to know. Thanks.

Week 25

Pregnancy is a wonderful, beautiful, and extremely tiring thing. I've found though that I really enjoy dressing up again with my little bump. My body is changing (hello new stretch marks, and weight gain), and sometimes I just don't feel like myself. Dressing up and putting on a pair of heels (I can't hear your heel protests) always helps put me feel like my old self again. 

I love pregnancy style. Flattering body cons, long blazers. I'm here for it all! Will I post more? Let's see lol.

Our Engagement Shoot @ Edward's Garden

I almost can't believe that I'm marrying Edward this Saturday. It's absolutely insane! I know everyone says the time goes by so fast but it really does.

I genuinely enjoyed all the wedding planning Edward, and being your fiancée, but now I'm just excited that I soon get to be your wife.

Every photo was taken at the place where it all started, Edward's Garden in Toronto, by the talented Whitney Heard (Check her out here). I’ve always dreamed about my engagement shoot with Edward, and I still can’t believe you captured a silly couple like us so beautifully.

The next time I post, I'll probably be a married woman 0.o lol!

Sunday Denim

I originally had another outfit on this morning, but because I somehow attract accidents my little cousin knocked a cup of coffee all over it. I needed to change out of it really quick, or I'd be late for church, and I immediately reached for this classic outfit. You could never go wrong with a simple pair of black jeans (Calvin Klein) and a white top (thrifted).

I never meant to take an OOTD but when I see a black wall (though this one is hella dirty), I can't help but force the fiancé to take a photo lol!

Edward & I had our engagement shoot on Wednesday, but we had a little fun with these solo portraits of me at the end of the shoot. We haven't gotten all the photos yet (eagerly waiting!) but I thought I'd share with you a couple photos that she has finished editing and that I love.

Whitney is an amazing photographer and is a true artist. When I was looking around for a photographer she was on top of my list and I'm so glad that we were able to secure her for our wedding. I immediately fell in love with her passion and all the work she puts into her photography, and I believe she's gonna capture our wedding perfectly! She has a positive attitude and is just a joy to work with. Ahhh... I could go on, but check her out here yourself.

my face is not allowed in the photo because it did not cooperate with me. such things must be done sometimes.

Spontaneous

1°C for me means it’s finally warm enough to air out my knees. (It’s common knowledge that knees need to be aired out at least once a week.) Oh...I love the sun, and all the beautiful warmth and joy it brings.

I found this jacket at the thrift store, and the sweater at a buy one get one sale at forever 21. They were both pieces that my fiancé picked out and since they’re so comfortable and cozy (which is all I wanted to be today), I’m not complaining.

Long time no see! I missed Ms.Julia (her blog) so we had a coffee date/photo walk at Evergreen Brickworks, a place she had recommended. She's definitely a bundle of energy and it's never a dull moment with her.

We took a bunch more photos around the property that she will edit, and I can't wait to see what she'll come up with. I edited these using CameraBag and I liked how these three photos, in particular, flowed together.

I collaborated on this post with my girl Julia (her website: here). Her personality and positivity radiate from her and I loved every moment working with her.

Shooting in a studio was definitely nerve wracking but it's definitely a fun experience.
